"Painting like Pollock" November 3rd-4th

Students will take their canvases to the floor and trade paint brushes for sticks as we explore action painting.  We will listen to jazz music while moving around our artwork, getting a sense of what this new form of creation that came about in the mid-1900's by American artist, Jackson Pollock, was all about.

as students engage in this activity, they explore the process of creation verses creating with an end product in mind.
